What You Get
Nothing beats learning in a live setting with a small cohort of other leaders who care. Live training sessions are interactive and tailored for new leaders. We cover one new module per week. Complete all five training modules over the 5-week program and you get the Leadership Certificate.
You have the opportunity every week to participate in short, virtual one-on-one coaching sessions. These sessions are laser-focused on your particular day-to-day challenges. Choose to meet up every week, or as needed. It’s up to you!
Your membership includes access to a library of recorded micro trainings. The trainings are short, recorded, tactical, and focused on relevant leadership topics. They are designed to provide quick answers and insights to common leadership questions.
Apply to the Program
We want you to apply to join the program. To apply use the 1-minute application form. After you submit the application we will respond with a few questions. The whole purpose is to make sure this program is the right fit for you, and that you are the right fit for the program.
Get Logged In
After your application has been approved and the program fee has been covered, you will get login credentials. You will log in on this website. There is a login button at the top of each page. After logging in you will see the schedule for live training sessions, be able to sign up for one-on-one coaching slots, and get access the micro trainings.
Meet Your Leadership Circle
In this program you are automatically assigned to a cohort of other lead learners called a Leadership Circle. Every leader needs the support of other leaders. Because we want you to get to know and network with other leaders, Circles are capped at 15 people. You will proceed through the course materials together. You will meet the others in your Circle during our first livestream class.
Attend the Livestream Trainings
Livestream trainings are held via Zoom. Each week we will focus on one module. Unlike other trainings that run a full day or multiple days, we believe that learning best happens in smaller chunks over time. The livestream sessions are 120 minutes and are designed to be interactive. Expect to be listening to the content, participating in discussion with others in the Circle, and completing short assignments. The goal of these trainings is to take the leadership content and organize it into your unique life. Complete all five modules and you will earn the Leadership Certificate!
Participate in One-on-One Coaching
For the five week duration of the program you will get access to one-on-one coaching. This kind of coaching is very different than sports coaching. A professional coach is a trained partner who can help you think through the challenges you are having instead of just telling you what to do. Sessions are a max of 20 minutes, confidential, and can be about any topic you like. The best way to use this time is to bring a specific challenge to discuss. The more specific, the better. Coaching slots are currently available on Wednesdays of each week. This is not a required component of the program, it’s a membership perk. You can choose whether to participate (but we hope you do).
Learn More From Micro Trainings
In between the livestream classes, learn more from the recorded micro trainings. Micro trainings are short, recorded trainings about relevant leadership topics. These trainings are meant to offer quick answers to common leadership questions. Each training has a video and narrative component. Some trainings will have PDF resource templates you can use. Since the program is new, the micro training library is still been created. Expect to see new trainings added each month.
Get the Leadership Certificate
Complete all five of the course modules and you get the Leadership Certificate. This certificate will be mailed to you and is ready to be framed and hung on your wall of awesome!

Week 2: Coaching
The New Imperative: Leader as Coach
The command and control workplace of yesterday is over. Permanently. It has been replaced with the leader-as-coach model. This model isn’t about telling our team members what to do and how to do it. Rather, coaching leaders work to develop every team member so they are capable, empowered, accountable, and motivated. It’s not easy. This class will help you start your coaching leader transformation. Better results will follow.

Communication Strategies for Connection, Retention, and Productivity
Communication is no longer just about what you say, it’s about who you are. Leaders are under more scrutiny these days than at any other time. Excellent verbal communication only scratches the surface. How we show up in the workplace, the words we use, the tone we choose, our body language, and our presence all have an effect on helping others receive our intended message. This class will equip you with the communication skills you need for the modern workplace.

Week 4: Decision Making
Decision Making Amid Uncertainty and Dissent
Imagine how great you could be if you literally had all the information and the ability to persuade everybody to your point of view. It doesn’t work this way. Leaders seldom have all the information (or even most of the information). Leaders are often caught between several good alternatives and advocates for those alternatives. Decisions must be made. But how do you do this and still maintain the respect and buy-in of the team? In this class we look at leader level decision making and how to make better decisions.

Week 5: Productivity
Engineering Consistent Personal and Team Productivity
Productivity is key. Not only does your personal productivity matter, but your team’s productivity as well. Leadership can be exhausting. Often there is no end to the number of initiatives being dreamt up. Client demands are increasing. We have to adopt a new system of productivity that focuses on the things that matter and gives us the tools to deflect everything else. Not only for our own sake, but for our team’s health as well. Productivity is no longer about getting it all done, it’s about getting the right things done at the right time. This class will teach you the skills of modern productivity that will help keep you focused on what matters.
